I’m Michelle, the voice behind Florida Family Adventures! We are a family of four who uprooted our lives in Seattle solely on faith, in order to seek a simpler and more stress-free lifestyle in Central Florida!
While the PNW is absolutely gorgeous in the summer, with breathtaking hikes to waterfalls, ice caves, and mountaintop views, to water sports like boating in the Puget Sound, kayaking through tranquil rivers/lakes, or even whale watching… once the two months of summer weather was up, you could pretty much count on rainy/gloomy/cold weather the rest of the year.
It was the farthest thing from an easy decision or process! But after about 18 months of praying, researching, saving, and a two-week 3,565-mile road trip… WE MADE IT TO ORLANDO! After a couple of trips a year to Florida for the past few years, we are excited to finally call The Sunshine State home! Bring on all the sandy toes, roller coaster screams, sun-kissed skin, cold butter beers, and adventures through Florida’s hot tourist destinations and hidden gems!
